BUT.... Parallel universe is exactly that comes out from my mind this morning.
So, here's satellite map from Google map of the area that I explore this morning
It looks perfectly neat since the housing here is for upper middle class. rows of pristine houses, with cars in the driveways. Maids and gardeners tending manicured garden.
Yet, there is places where you will be transported out from this world. And I will use the same map to illustrate my point.
Yellow circle is the corner where it has pine trees. And those pine trees are inhabitant for many little birds. This morning I watch those little black birds with white chest flying very very low from one tree to another, chirping happily. And the morning transcends to a walk in the mountain in the middle of pine forest. I stayed there a while.. Watching in fascination. May be this is what they called by parallel universe. Place within a place. Situation within a situation.
The blue circle, has cocks, hens, guinea pigs in small neat rows of wooden boxes. It almost feels like you're in McDonald farm. Another parallel universe.
Now what's that red lines? Red lines indicate the border of the housings. They erected wall-enclosure to ensure the safety of the residents. Also to keep away of those who live outside, which might not considered worthy enough to mingle.
You might ask, how do I came to that conclusion? Because along the road that I was walking, I smell garbage being burnt. Means, nearby, there is other people that live nearby with 'lower' education, 'lower' income, and have no access to sanitation and garbage disposal, that they know no other way than to burn the garbage.
Those are the invisible people. They're there, but we choose to believe that they don't exist. For they only exist in their own parallel universe.
