I used to think that human has evolved away from its animalistic nature towards more humanist. That we are higher than animals because we have intelligence and conscience.
But I guess we never entirely leave our animal instict.
Everytime I saw people enthusiastically cheering any fight, whether it's boxing championship, WWF championship, UFC, or even street fighting, I saw the animal instict in each of the twinkling eyes.
We are emotionally affected, and we want one fighter down, as if we don't want co-champion. We don't want co-existence exist. We want one die for the other to be alive.
That's the most primitive desire from animal. Even animal only kills and hurts other animals when they are hungry, or felt threatened.
But us? Human kills and hurts in the name of a game. For fun.
